MY STORY
A lifelong passion for music and literature led me to a fascination with the intersection of art forms and patterns across eras and subcultures. While pursuing my love of Japanese literature, Korean music, and travel, I've become enamoured by the trailblazing creativity in Asian fashion capitals. Aged 17 I moved to Beijing to teach for a year, returned to the UK to study literature, and then spent a year in Seoul studying and making connections in the Korean fashion industry, enabling me to attend Seoul Fashion Week. This desire to immerse myself in Asian cultures has inspired my personal style as I recognise trends in Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai Fashion Weeks years before their appearance in the West. Now living in London I'm constantly inspired by the fashion of the East End, the queer rave scene, and the range of upcoming independent artists I've met who are rewriting the music industry.
